Dr. Scott Rogers will be performing in concert at the Columbia Rosenwald School on Saturday, March 2nd, at 6:30 p.m.

Doctor Scott Rogers is a well-known musical performer who has entertained audiences in the region for quite some time. His concerts are punctuated by stories about himself, the music and those who created it. The Rosenwald School offers wonderful acoustics and an intimate and historic venue to enjoy the evening.

The historic Rosenwald School, located behind the museum at the intersection of Broad and Clay streets in West Columbia, is one of five out of over 500 built in Texas, left standing. It is being used today as an interpretive center and maintained as a one-room schoolhouse representing a school for Black students built in the early 1920s.
